Ave atque vale
A massive and fierce hail storm took out my phone nad internet yesterday. It was amazing to see the leaves strewn on the ground around all of the trees. I'm at the airport right now, checking my mail. (Free wifi.) Don't expect much in the way of new posts here until Wednesday, when the repairfolks are supposed to come. In the meantime, if the subject heading of this entry made you laugh after reading the post, my day is complete.

I miss when our power used to go out. Our lines our buried now, so our power only blips long enough to make the clock on the microwave go screwy. It's boring.

Glad it made you laugh. As for power blips, I guess you'll have to look elsewhere for excitement.

One time our power went out for two days and Mom and I had ice cream soup for lunch.
Sometimes, during a storm, I unplug everything and read with a flashlight.

It's been almost a week. No sign of David. Is his "phone nad internet" (what's a phone nad?) still out? Sounds serious. (David -- serious? nah.)
